Kinetic art exerts an emotional impact through flickering, vibrations and warmth, always interacting with the surrounding space. ABOUT IDEA
My immersion into the world of kinetic art began in 2003 thanks to my friend Ivan, who introduced me to Bruce Shapiro's unique installation at the Swiss Technorama Museum.

My name is Alexander Dmitriev, I am the author of the FMone project.
“An 8–year project” is perhaps the most accurate way to describe this amazing path of creative search and self-discovery. Over the years, the project has gone through many transformations, honing and finding its true form.
Every step along the way was important, every failure and every discovery contributed to the formation of the final result.
Starting as a desire to combine art and functionality, the project gradually crystallized and took on clear outlines.
Years of experimentation, reflection and sometimes disappointment were not in vain – they allowed me to understand the essence of my idea more deeply, cut off all unnecessary things and concentrate on the main thing.

The kinetic table represents a new direction in design, in which practicality and aesthetics live in an amazing symbiosis. The FMone table is a kinetic art object that embodies movement, variability of form and function.

The UMO line appeared as a reinterpretation of our first Luna table, created in 2017. In the process of further developing the design idea, UMO embodied the best features of Luna, adding new and innovative elements to them.

My goal was to find a form that would perfectly complement the content, creating a harmonious symbiosis of aesthetics and practicality. The first attempts, although promising, did not achieve the exquisite balance between form and content that I was striving for. As is often the case in the creative process, the inspiration came from an unexpected source.
My son, an avid comic book fan, once showed me a 1976 issue of UFO Mysteries. At that moment, it dawned on me – here it is, the form I was looking for! Concise, but ingenious in its recognizability, the shape of the flying saucer became the key to solving my creative task.
This moment of inspiration marked the beginning of the creation of the UFO collection line, which embodies the perfect balance between futuristic aesthetics and functionality.
